Hi, I’m Frances. Before becoming a therapist, I felt a deep sense of detachment—a thread that wove itself through all of my experiences and shaped so many of my choices. My own journey through therapy opened my eyes to the deep restoration found in connection, and it felt like waking up to a life I never knew existed. That experience inspired a passion within me to help others find their own paths toward reconnecting with themselves.
Throughout my training and since qualifying as a therapist, I’ve spent several years supporting people affected by trauma and domestic abuse, both in community settings and charity work. I’ve also worked with young people with special educational needs and disabilities, supporting their wellbeing and engagement in their education, community, and daily life. This work taught me the value of listening beyond words, meeting people exactly where they are, and honouring each individual’s unique way of being
In all of this work, I’ve come to understand how complex and personal the healing process can be. I’ve often witnessed how people can feel lost, unseen, or out of step with themselves and their lives. Each person’s journey is their own, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you gently explore what healing might look like for you.
Traumatic experiences and modern life can leave us feeling disconnected from our feelings, our bodies, even from a sense of who we are. Therapy offers a chance to slow down, listen inward, and begin to make sense of what’s been happening beneath the surface. My work is grounded in creating a safe, compassionate space where you can begin to reconnect with yourself at your own pace, in your own way.
I'm committed to ongoing professional development and receive regular supervision to ensure I'm working ethically and effectively. As a registered member of the BACP, I adhere to their ethical framework and professional standards.
